Jujube Workshop 2016

We are delighted to invite you to the Jujube Workshop 2016: Chinese Jujube – a new fruit for Europe, organized by the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest and Agriculture University of Hebei, under the auspices of the Romanian Society of Horticulturists and of China Cash Forest Association.
The event will be held at the Faculty of Horticulture, between 9 October and 12 October 2016 in București, Romania.
The topics of the Jujube Workshop 2016 are:
- Genetic resources
- Propagation and orchard technologies
- Chinese jujube plant protection
- Postharvest, fruit quality and benefits to human nutrition
The Workshop will be comprised of a plenary session and a poster session. In parallel, an International Exhibition with Jujube fruits and Jujube products will be organized in the University Sports Hall.
The event will include a technical tour (October 11) in Dobrogea Region, close to the Black Sea and Danube Delta where wild jujube is found since the period of Antique Greek Colonies.
